Table slides over Morgan's poor attempt at a table and is now 24" wide by 36" long.
The table is slotted to slide back 9" to leave access to the cabin entry way.
DOUBLE DUTY!
The table is placed on the locked wheel and rests on the seat back.
With the new table behind the wheel, the rest of the cockpit is free to move around in. |
How did I do it?
Review each picture and you will see how it slides over the old table and how it is connected to the wheel.
Table is 24 x 36 and made of 1/2" Starboard.

Table is stored in the v-berth. It is slid behind the head wall with the table underside to the bow.
The middle slot in the table allows it to slide over the starboard wall shelf as seen above.
We also store here a 30" wheel that we replace the larger wheel with while at anchor.
This allows much more move around leg room in the cockpit.
Both items are held in with a bungy cord. Neither affects the mattress. |
