Corian cuts like wood with a carbide blade. I used a DEWALT Finishing blade
with 36 teeth per inch. |
![]() Cutting out for the sink, I made four plunge cuts with the skill saw and finished the corners with a Jig saw. A sander finishes off the edges around the sink and then the top edge is routed with a small radii.

![]() Decided to do a glue test using my existing Epoxy glue. I glued two samples together to test after they are dry. Test one will be for how the glue blends with the seam. One sample I used plain Epoxy and the second I tinted the Epoxy with the dust from the cutting of the Corain. This method works for wood, so lets see if I can hide the seam with it in Corain. |

In my spare time I designed a shelf above the sink. Incorporated into it is the handrail that will match the Port side. The plastic one showing will be SS. Sample molding showing in the last pic.
