*************************************************************** Feb. 15th -18th The weather is slowing me down! Some have asked how I keep warm? Lots of clothing and the heaters below. Installed the fixed Ceramic Heater today! Note the propane heater on the sleeping deck. The two of them keep me warm! I also took pictures of the nifty ref temperature gages we use in the summer. It lets us know the ref system is working. NOTE THE 10.8 deg F. That is for REAL! Southerners-eat your hearts out! We can keep it that cold with the system OFF!
Also working in my basement making the final moldings. See detail in picture.

**************************************************************** March 1st, Spring-three weeks away....Someone want to tell the weatherman! |
OK, looks like I am working backwards here but the past 2 weeks have been spent
wiring and plumbing. Lots of items removed to get access.
![]() All these items I ran some where in the aft cabin!!!! 2 speakers, radio, 2-12v plugs, 2-120v plugs, 120v heater, 3-12v lights, macerator, stern light, stern GPS antenna, 2-12v fans, auto pilot & electronics brain box. replumbed new water hoses to aft head, new hose to rear deck Complete new installation of holding tank
|
|
Note the thru hull that has to be opened when you use the macerator, above
right. Boat can do a roll and that tank is staying put! YES there is some PVC in use here........for those who know what that means! Please don't call the boat police! |

Anyone interested in seeing a view of what the steering mechanic looks like? |
| March 21st, Spring-first day I did not need the heater! YES!!!!! |

Been busy working on the stuff you can't see. Also working
on the floor. The picture below shows the floor in and 1/4" lower than teak
and holly part. Complete floor to be done next year. This year will be carpet. Floor still has work to complete. The two humps are plastic covers over the steering cables. ![]()
